Trezor Safe 5: Advanced Features and Security
The Trezor Safe 5 hardware wallet allows users to safely store, manage, staking, and use thousands of cryptocurrencies in one place via the Trezor Suite desktop and mobile applications. Trezor Safe 5 is equipped with:
- Larger color touch screen with vibration feedback.
- A new secure element designed to protect sensitive information and perform cryptographic operations.
- Improved 20 word backup process.

Security: EAL 6+ and Multi-Share Backup
Unlike competitors like Ledger, Trezor's tools are open-source, meaning they are community-based and regularly audited so vulnerabilities can be identified and fixed more quickly.
However, this could potentially make the device easier to hack if stolen. Trezor Safe 5 overcomes this with an EAL 6+ certified secure element, indicating the chip has gone through rigorous testing and is able to withstand sophisticated attacks.
The enhanced backup process allows users to switch from standard single-share backups to more advanced multi-share backups. Multi-share backups offer better security because they do not have a single point of failure.
Bitcoin Special Version
Trezor Safe 5 is priced at $169 or around Rp. 2.5 million. Bitcoin and Black Graphite special versions are available for pre-order and will ship in July. The Green Beryl and Violet Ore versions will be available in mid-August.

Trezor Expert: Personal Onboarding Service
Apart from the new Hardware wallet, Trezor also announced the launch of Trezor Expert. Trezor Expert is a personalized onboarding session designed to provide users with knowledge and support in setting up Trezor cold storage devices and using their self-custody solutions comfortably.
The Trezor Expert service is priced at $99 or around IDR 1.5 million and is available globally seven days a week. Trezor guarantees that only customers know wallet backups and other sensitive information.
