Pantera Capital Invests in Everclear's Cross Chain Clearing Layer Technology

Bittime - Pantera Capital, a leadingventure capital firmfocused on blockchain technology, has announced a $5 million investment in Everclear (formerly Connext) to support the development of its cross-chain clearing layer technology.

Everclear, formerly known as Connext, has been tackling the challenge of transferring assets between blockchains since 2017. Their newly launched clearing layer is a decentralized network designed to simplify the settlement and refining of cross-chain liquidity. 

This is achieved through a combination of complex intent resolution and Everclear's proprietary optimistic rollup technology. This technology is expected to significantly reduce the cost and complexity of cross-chain transactions by up to five times.
