ZKsync Airdrop Becomes Targeted Attack of Misinformation Campaign

Bittime -ZK Nation, a subsidiary of ZKsync , accused malicious actors of launching a large-scale misinformation campaign againsttheir airdrop program . The campaign, which was allegedly conducted on the X platform, reportedly involved thousands of automated accounts spreading false information about ZKSync.

ZK Nation claims the campaign centered on a false story alleging funds allocated for the airdrop had been diverted to insiders. The organization emphasized the lack of understanding of ZKsync among those spreading the rumors.

There has been a lot of confusing news regarding several parties who have received larger token allocations since the announcement of this airdrop event. However, several parties involved have also confirmed this error.

Although ZK Nation has not specified the exact nature of the false information or the X platform where the attack occurred, they have confirmed that they are investigating the rumors. They also promised to share more details in the future.
