dYdX Chain Version 5.0
The dYdX Chain community has just approved the dYdX Chain protocol software upgrade to version 5.0. This decision came after a vote by 90% of community members, with 98.5% approving the upgrade.
The dYdX Chain upgrade to version 5.0 is scheduled to be implemented on block 17,560,000, which is expected to occur on June 6, 2024 at around 22:00 WIB.
Protocol software upgrades typically aim to improve network performance, such as transaction speed, reduced transaction costs, and increased scalability.
Sei Creator Fund
Sei Network collaborates with Gitcoin to launch the Sei Creator Fund. Gitcoin, a well-known community-based funding platform. This platform will play a role in the selection and allocation process of funds using the quadratic funding (QF) mechanism.
The Sei Creator Fund officially started its first round entitled "Kick Off Round" on June 4 2024. Through this round, the Sei Creator Fund provided matching funds of $250,000 to support projects that build the future of the Sei ecosystem.
