Last Tuesday, the price of Bitcoin fell below $61,000 amid issues facing Coinbase.
However, the digital asset showed resilience by quickly rebounding and starting a notable rally on Wednesday following the release of US inflation data (CPI).

Bitcoin Price Had Experienced a Correction This Week
Within hours, Bitcoin surged by several thousand dollars, surpassing the $66,000 mark. The price experienced a correction on Thursday, dropping below $65,000, but again showed a positive trend at the end of the week.
Bitcoin peaked with several price increases above $67,500, the most recent of which occurred on Sunday.
However, the move was hampered by a correction, pushing Bitcoin back down below $66,000.
The high volatility was then followed by another brief decline, but now Bitcoin is back near $67,000, with a daily decline of less than 0.5%.
The overall market value of this crypto asset is stable at around $1.320 trillion, and its position as the leading crypto asset compared to other cryptocurrencies is strengthening, approaching 52%.
Altcoin Market Is Painted Red, Ethereum Nears $3,100
The majority of altcoins followed in the footsteps of Bitcoin (BTC) by recording declines in the last 24 hours. Ethereum (ETH) is close to breaking below $3,100 after suffering a 0.4% correction, fueled by increased anticipation of the SEC's decision regarding the Ethereum ETF. Binance Coin (BNB) also experienced a similar decline, dropping to $576.
Larger drops occurred in large-cap altcoins such as XRP, DOGE, AVAX, DOT, TRX, and BCH, with declines ranging from 2.5% to 3%. On the other hand, TON, SHIB, and ADA experienced a more moderate correction, namely around 2.5%.
Interestingly, Solana's native token (SOL) showed a counter-trend move, surging 2.5% and approaching $180. Increases were also seen in WIF, PEPE, NEAR, and GRT, although with smaller percentages.
Overall, the crypto market cap has seen a decline in value and is now below $2.550 trillion on CoinGecko.
