Based on an investigation carried out by Adrian Wong and conveyed via Techarp, the post from the Tesla Event about the Bitcoin and Ethereum giveaway with a fantastic amount is a scam .

Below are several logical points explaining why Elon Musk's Bitcoin and Ethereum giveaway from the Tesla Event account is a scam .
1. Elon Musk Impossible to Share BTC + ETH
First of all, it's worth noting that it's unlikely that Elon Musk is giving away any Bitcoin or Ether. He is a businessman who focuses on making money, not giving it away.
Even his philanthropic activities often appear to benefit himself, for example, by providing large tax breaks and supporting his businesses. That's one of the reasons he became a billionaire.

The website listed is fake and pretends to be a Medium post by Elon Musk. In fact, there is no Medium post from Elon Musk.
Also consider, why would Elon Musk post on Medium if he could post on X (formerly Twitter), his social media platform?

This website domain is also new and does not belong to X, Tesla, or Elon Musk. In fact, the ownership of the domain is hidden, which is a common feature of fraudulent websites.
The event-promotion.info domain was only registered on May 6, 2024, the day this scam site first appeared!
Once detected, the fraudsters moved to the event-finance.net and event-finance.org domains , which were registered on May 10, 2024.
The fraudsters will likely move on to another domain soon.

3. Multiple Crypto Fraudulent Practices
This crypto scam takes advantage of your greed to take your crypto back.
Instead of giving away BTC or ETH as promised in the original giveaway, this scam asks you to send your own BTC or ETH with the promise of double the rewards!
To verify your address, just send from 0.05 to 2 BTC to the address below and get from 0.1 to 8 BTC (x2 back)!
The things stated above really don't make sense. Whatever BTC or ETH you send to that address will be lost forever.
You'll never get it back, let alone get double the amount!

To further tempt you to send more Bitcoin or Ether, scammers offer special bonuses for large transactions:
If you send from 1+ ETH, you will receive from 2+ ETH back +40% BONUS.
