Bittime - Drift, a crypto asset futures (perpetual futures) trading platform based on the Solana blockchain, officially launched their token, DRIFT. Not only launching tokens, Drift is also giving away free tokens worth 120 million DRIFT!
This airdrop is equivalent to 12% of the total DRIFT token supply of 1 billion. Interestingly, Drift added a 2% bonus or the equivalent of 20 million tokens, more than their initial plan last month.

Drift founder Cindy Leow said that Drift may be the first protocol to include bonuses in their airdrops.

Every eligible Drift user will receive two shares in this airdrop:
- Initial allocation: can be claimed immediately at launch.
- Gradual bonus: will open gradually over six hours. The longer you wait to claim, the more bonuses you get.
For example, if you have a total allocation of 200 DRIFT, 100 DRIFT can be claimed immediately, the rest will open gradually over 6 hours. However, if you immediately take 100 DRIFT at the start, then you lose the bonus.
