Gold Distribution Blast mechanism
Gold Distribution Blast uses a special methodology to determine the number of Gold coins received by each Dapp.
This methodology is based on a formula that considers several factors, namely:
- Category Weight: Rates the type of Dapp, for example, DeFi, GameFi, etc.
- Blast-native Weight: Measures the exclusivity of a Dapp on the Blast platform.
- Dapp Weight: Assesses the overall performance and activity of a Dapp.
- Incentive Weight: Assesses the effectiveness of the Dapp in distributing Gold to its users.
Based on this formula, each Dapp will receive a portion of Gold proportional to their final weight.

New Categories and Platinum Dapp Weights
In Gold Distribution 3, Blast introduces two interesting new things, namely:
- New Category (RWA): This category is intended for Dapps that are integrated with Real World Assets (RWA).
- Platinum Dapp Weight: The highest weight given to Dapps with outstanding performance.

Blast-native weight
Blast assigns different weights to Dapps based on their level of exclusivity:
- Exclusive dapp for Blast: 2
- Dapps that mostly run on Blast: 1.5
- Dapps available on various blockchains: 1

Dapp Weight
Blast assesses Dapp performance based on several criteria, such as on-chain activity, use of the Blast-native yield feature, use of the Blast-native gas fee sharing feature, Blast Points API integration, overall execution quality (clear communication, good security, etc.) .
Dapps that experience security incidents or have a negative image in the community will receive a weight of 0. However, these Dapps still have a chance to get Gold in the next season if they manage to improve themselves.

Incentive Weight
Incentive weights assess a Dapp's effectiveness in distributing Gold to its users. Blast provides information regarding common issues regarding Gold Distribution on their website.
