What is ZetaChain (ZETA)?
ZetaChain is a Layer 1 main network that provides omnichain smart contracts and aims to connect various blockchain networks. Built on the Cosmos SDK, ZetaChain uses multiple validators to participate in the block generation process to reach consensus.
ZetaChain also uses observers and signers for cross-chain communication. Observers collect information generated from external chains and send it to Zeta Chain, while signers manage Zeta Chain accounts on external chains in a decentralized manner using the TSS (Threshold Signatures Scheme) function.
Meanwhile, ZETA is the native digital asset of ZetaChain and has various uses, such as payment of transaction fees, staking, and delegation, as well as participation in network governance.
What is Omni Network (OMNI)?
Omni Network is a Layer 1 blockchain that provides interoperability between Ethereum rollups. Omni Network was developed to address the fragmentation of liquidity, users, and developers caused by the rapidly increasing number of rollups.
Omni Network has a dual-chain architecture that aims to process cross-chain transactions quickly and efficiently through Integrated Consensus. As an Active Validated Service (AVS) from EigenLayer, Omni Network has the characteristic of securing the stability of the initial protocol with a security system derived from Ethereum through ETH restaking.
Meanwhile, OMNI, the native token of the Omni Network, is used for payment of transaction fees, staking and delegation, as well as participation in network governance.
