$REZ Token Airdrop Claims Open, Renzo Protocol Reaps Fantastic Profits

Bittime - Renzo Protocol, an innovative re-staking protocol, has announced the opening of airdrop claims for their native token, $REZ.

$REZ's debut on the market was marked by a promising market capitalization of $289 million, as reported by CoinMarketCap.

What is Renzo Protocol?

Renzo is a protocol that serves as a gateway to EigenLayer, guaranteeing service security through active validation (AVS).

Users who stake Ethereum (ETH) on the platform earn rewards and automatically receive ezETH, Renzo's reset liquidity token, which can be leveraged to increase yields across various decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols.

This protocol is designed to simplify the deployment process for end users, thereby facilitating collaboration between users and EigenLayer node operators. REZ, Renzo Protocol's Governance Token, is powered by ezETH's Liquid Retaking Token.

Initially, 1.15 billion REZ tokens have been put into circulation, while the other 8.85 billion tokens are locked and will be unlocked gradually based on certain criteria.

31% of tokens are allocated to investors, 32% to the community, and 20% to core contributors. These tokens have a lock-up period of 1 year and a vesting period of 2 years.

This contradicts previous information published on Renzo's website, where their official token contract had recorded trading volume reaching $75 million within just an hour of the claim being shared.
