STRK Airdrop Re-open for Three Groups of Starknet Users!

Bittime - Last month, Starknet announced efforts to help three sub-categories of users who were eligible to receive the first round of STRK airdrops, but were having difficulty claiming.

Starting today, April 24, 2024, eligible recipients from the following groups can claim their STRK directly through the Provisions Starknet portal. The three groups eligible to claim for the STRK token airdrop are Pooled Stakers, StarkEx users misidentified as VeVe users, and VeVe users

Pooled Stakers

The Starknet Foundation initially plans to distribute STRK to eligible registered stakers via the protocol they are staking on. However, many staking protocols are unable to distribute their STRK allocations to stakers.

To ensure that STRK can be distributed to as many eligible registered stakers as possible, the Starknet Foundation is working with a number of leading staking protocols. 

They provide access to eligible stakers to make claims through the Provisions portal. Here's a list of supported protocols:

• Rocket Pool
• BloxStaking
• SharedStakes
• Stakefish
• Consensys
• Ankr Staking

Starting today, registered stakers who stake via the above protocols and are identified by the Starknet Foundation as eligible Provisions recipients, can claim their STRKs directly through the Provisions portal.

StarkEx User Misidentified As VeVe User

The Starknet Foundation team worked with Immutable, a StarkEx application, to identify users previously misidentified as users of VeVe games operating on the Immutable network.

Starting today, Immutable users identified as non-VeVe users in the most recent list received from Immutable, can claim STRKs through the Provisions portal.

Meanwhile, for VeVe users, further discussions are still being held with VeVe regarding token distribution. The latest information will be provided once the STRK token airdrop claim is available.

Please note that there will be a delay of several hours during which Immutable users, stakers, and dYdX users will not be able to make claims through the portal. This is due to the migration of eligible recipients to the new smart contract to enable them to make claims. The latest information regarding the completion of the migration will be provided soon.
