Pendle stands out above the market thanks to the support of BitMex executives While most altcoins are struggling with single-digit gains, Pendle price saw a sharp rise of 10% in a day. The rise was fueled by recent bullish statements from BitMex co-founder Arthur Hayes, who backed Pendle at the Token 2049 event in Dubai.
In a conversation with Crypto Banter founder Ran Neuner, Hayes stated, “Pendle will be the most important derivatives decentralized exchange.”
Hayes' Optimism and Sustainable Economics
Hayes attributes this optimism to the network mechanisms that will drive the next wave in market evolution, namely interest rate trading. According to Hayes, the interest rate trading presented by Pendle will define a native crypto protocol to help create a sustainable economy, where investors can borrow or lend money by fully understanding the interest rates they are using.

Of note, Hayes had previously made similar projections during the Token 2049 event in Singapore, stating that Bitcoin, artificial intelligence (AI), and Filecoin would see a surge. His prediction proved correct.

Although the altcoin appears poised for a northward extension, given that the Relative Strength Index (RSI) hints at a possible buy signal, Pendle price remains in a range between $5.51 and $6.98.

If buyers can push PENDLE above $6.98 and decisively exit above that price on the daily time frame, this will attract more buyers, lifting PENDLE's price past the range high of $7.53.
In a very bullish scenario, profits could reach new local levels around $8.00 or $9.00. This would be a 35% increase from current levels.
However, if sellers start taking profits, this altcoin could fall and erase the gains it has made. If the price breaks and closes below $5.51, then the bullish theory will be invalid, and Pendle price could fall to reach the support level of $4.81.
Although the Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) and Awesome Oscillator (AO) are in positive territory, MACD's position below the signal line and the AO histogram approaching the zero line increases the possibility of a correction.
