Bitcoin Starting to Recover?
Bitcoin (BTC) briefly surged to $71,800 last week, but has yet to break past its all-time high of $73,800. After several declines, the price of Bitcoin (BTC) stabilized at around $70,000 over the weekend.
Prices tried to rise again on Sunday evening but were stuck at $71,200. This rejection pushed the price of Bitcoin (BTC) down to $66,000 yesterday.
Another drop occurred this morning, where Bitcoin (BTC) fell to a 10-day low of $64,500 despite a large outflow from Coinbase.
Even though it fell, the price of Bitcoin managed to recover. Bitcoin (BTC) is currently above $66,000. Bitcoin (BTC) market cap remains above $1.3 trillion, with its dominance over altcoins at 49.6% according to CoinGecko.

ICP Soars High
Overall altcoin prices also experienced a decline. Ethereum (ETH) fell about 2% in the last 24 hours to $3,300. Ripple experienced a similar drop to below $0.6.
Cardano (ADA), Dogecoin (DOGE), Toncoin, Bitcoin Cash, Avalanche, and Polkadot also weakened slightly. UNI fell more than 3.5%.

In contrast, Solana (SOL) rose 3.5% to around $190. NEAR and WIF each rose 6%, while ICP jumped nearly 10%. As a result, ICP is now trading above $18.
The overall total crypto market capitalization has recovered more than $50 billion since the overnight drop and now sits above $2.6 trillion according to CoinGecko.
