Major ENA Transaction: Two Addresses Received 5.31 Million ENA

Bittime - Two addresses associated with whales or entities possessing large amounts of tokens (using the same deposit address on Binance) recently received 5.31 million ENA tokens, worth $3.1 million (Rp49.29 billion). All these tokens are then deposited into Binance.

Ethena Labs, a decentralized finance (DeFi) protocol offering $1.3 billion worth of USDE, has presented their new governance token, ENA. According to reports, Ethena has invited USDe holders to claim their share of the airdrop of 750 million ENA tokens, which is equivalent to 5% of the total supply.

After the start of the airdrop, ENA rose more than 8% to trade around 64 cents, with a market cap approaching $500 million, according to data from CoinGecko. In US dollars, this is equivalent to Rp7.98 (Rp126.72 million) per ENA token.

Ethena plans to kick off the campaign with new incentives for the next phase of the airdrop. The USDe token, referred to as the "synthetic dollar," offers returns to investors by pairing liquid ether staking tokens with short ether (ETH) future positions in the derivatives market to maintain a "rough" price target of $1.

With a thriving ecosystem, Ethena has attracted key players in the DeFi space, including MakerDAO, Frax, Curve Finance, and Aave, among others. The integration also demonstrates the growing relevance and adoption of the USDe Ethena stablecoin within the broader DeFi ecosystem.

Vesting ENA

On April 2, users will have the opportunity to claim their share of 750 million ENA tokens, representing 5% of the total supply, based on their accumulated shards – a measure of their contribution to the Ethena ecosystem.
