Ethena Announces ENA Token Airdrop for USDe Holders

USDe Holder Appreciation Form

This airdrop was specifically designed to reward users holding USDe, Ethena's synthetic dollar stablecoin . 

To be eligible for the airdrop, users must hold USDe in their wallets on the Ethena platform as of April 2 . Any action such as unstaking, unlocking, or selling USDe before this date will disqualify the user from receiving the airdrop.

Significant Token Distribution

Ethena plans to distribute a large number of ENA tokens through this airdrop. A total of 750 million ENA tokens, representing 5% of the total supply, will be allocated to eligible users. This means wide distribution, with more than 90,000 user addresses expected to benefit.

Gradual Unlock Schedule for Top Users and NFT Holders

However, there will be a gradual unlock schedule for certain groups:

• Top 2,000 Users with Points: These users, presumably those with high engagement on the platform, will initially only receive 50% of their allocated ENA tokens. The remaining 50% will be unlocked linearly over a 6 month period.
• Pendle YT Token Holders: Holders of YT tokens, which are issued by the Pendle protocol , will also follow the same phased unlock schedule.

Additional Rewards for NFT Holders

Ethena took it a step further by including certain NFT holders in the airdrop. A small portion of the total airdrop allocation (0.15% of ENA's total supply) will be distributed to NFT holders of the SchizoPosters and Redacted Remilio Babies series.

The ENA token airdrop will begin on April 2, coinciding with ENA's listing on centralized cryptocurrency exchanges (CEX). Users can claim their allocated tokens from this date.
