Attack Details and Investigation

ZachXBT cryptocurrency sleuths identified the attacker's address, which contained nearly 17,411 ETH, equivalent to $62.5 million at current market prices. According to The Block, the attack occurred at 5:37 pm Eastern Time.

Munchables acknowledged the incident and said they were "tracking the movement and trying to prevent the transaction." They promise to provide an update as soon as more information is available.

This attack marks one of the largest financial losses in the crypto space throughout 2024, highlighting the security challenges faced by the web3 gaming industry.

Pac Finance Offers Support to Affected Users

On the other hand, Pac Finance, a lending protocol built on Blast, announced on their platform that they will provide an airdrop to users affected by the Munchables attack. 

This move shows Pac Finance's commitment to supporting the Blast community during this difficult time. Although there are no further details regarding this airdrop plan, this news does help the concerns of affected users a little.
