Memecoin Trading Volume on Solana Breaks Record

The average number of active addresses in the past seven days reached the highest number since June 2022, at 1.2 million addresses. Transaction Fees Go Up

Transaction fees on Solana also reached a new peak, with a total transaction fee of $3.83 million (around Rp54.82 million), which was dominated by non-voting priority fees.

This increase in activity is triggered by the rising trend of memecoins. The Book of Meme (BOME) token, which has just been listed on Binance, has seen a dramatic rise of 1500% since its launch a few days ago.

Presale Effect

The presale on Solana also showed rapid growth, with an artist named Kero managed to raise almost 55,000 SOL (around Rp787.05 million) in its presale. However, some presales have come under criticism for being feared to be scams, signaling the importance of caution in the burgeoning memecoin market.

Memecoins with dog themes such as Dogwifhat and BONK in Solana continue to attract attention, demonstrating unrelenting innovation in the creation of memecoins.
