Bittime - The COTI Foundation, a non-profit organization that supports Web3 development for Coti, announced the allocation of development funds worth $100 million (Rp 1.57 trillion) in COTI tokens. These funds will be used to support developers who want to develop privacy-oriented Web3 applications using COTI V2 technology.
COTI V2 is a transaction privacy solution in Web3 based on a cryptographic protocol called hidden circuits. Hidden circuits are a form of Multi-Party Computing (MPC) that allows various parties to perform computing together without revealing their personal information.
Thus, COTI V2 can provide Ethereum users with transaction confidentiality with much higher speed and efficiency than other solutions on the market.
COTI V2 is also compatible with the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM), which means developers can leverage the tools and infrastructure already in place in the Ethereum ecosystem. In addition, COTI V2 can also interact with various other Web3 protocols, such as DeFi, NFTs, and decentralized identities.
COTI V2 for Web3
Shahaf Bar-Geffen, CEO and Founder of COTI, said that COTI V2 represents a major breakthrough in the field of Web3 privacy. "COTI V2 will open up new opportunities for Web3 developers and users to create and enjoy secure, fast, and cost-effective applications.
"We believe that privacy is one of the important aspects that must be present in Web3. However, today there are still many challenges and limitations that hinder the achievement of optimal privacy. COTI V2 is here to address these challenges by providing a superior and easy-to-use transaction privacy solution," said Bar-Geffen.

To encourage the development of privacy-oriented Web3 applications, the COTI Foundation will allocate $100 million in development funds in COTI tokens. These funds will be distributed to developers who submit proposals for interesting and innovative ideas, and meet the selection criteria set by the COTI Foundation.
The COTI Foundation will also provide rewards programs and development grants to developers who successfully implement their ideas using COTI V2. In addition, the COTI Foundation will also provide technical support and guidance to developers joining the COTI ecosystem.
The COTI Foundation plans to launch the COTI V2 Devnet in the second quarter of 2024. This devnet will allow developers to experiment with COTI V2 technology and build privacy-oriented Web3 applications. After that, the COTI Foundation will proceed with the launch of the COTI V2 Testnet and Mainnet, which are expected to increase overall Web3 adoption and growth.
