PORTAL tokens will be used for network fees, payments, governance, staking, and purchasing nodes, according to the project's whitepaper. Portal has partnered with LayerZero, an omnichain interoperability protocol, to “enable a seamless multi-chain experience for gamers.

When will the PORTAL Token be officially traded?

After the staking period, Binance will list PORTAL for trading on February 29. Binance will apply a seed tag to the asset. Binance applies seed tags to low liquidity tokens that have the potential for higher volatility, and users who own assets with the tag are required to pass a quiz every 90 days to ensure they are aware of their inherent risks.
