If you have plain text that says "Cryptocurrency", for example, and it is Encrypted, the resulting text might be SHSF#R𻨓, making it impossible to understand.
Although data encryption may seem random to you, it is actually a logical and predictable way to allow parties who receive the encrypted data and have the right key to re-encrypt the data. This will return it to plain text for that particular party.
The most secure encryption method will use a key that is complex enough so that it will be difficult for third parties to decrypt or break the ciphertext by using brute force, or in other words, by using bots that can try to guess the key themselves.
