Fox Corporation, the large media company that owns Fox News and Fox Sports, recently launched a new platform called Verify. Verify is a media platform in collaboration with Polygon Labs, a software development company, and uses blockchain technology .
Verify is here to ensure the authenticity of content
Verify's primary goal is to organize and create content licensing agreements with companies that use artificial intelligence (AI).
In this day and age, where much content is generated by AI, it is often difficult to differentiate between genuine and fake content. Verify aims to ensure that the intellectual property rights of Fox Corporation are used properly by AI companies.

One of Verify's key features is its ability to trace the origin of content. This is done by digitally signing the media in a database, which helps verify the authenticity of the content. So, consumers can more easily recognize and trust the source of the media they consume.

Verify is built on the Polygon system using PoS Consensus
Polygon Labs, in a statement, explained that with so many AI tools and AI-generated media, Verify is needed to help differentiate what is real and what is not. Verify is built on the Polygon system which uses Proof of Stake (PoS) , a method in blockchain.
Verify launched publicly on January 8. Since then, this platform has been used by media companies to register various types of content, from articles to images to audio. Every piece of content listed on Verify is digitally signed, which increases consumer confidence.
To date, Verify has managed to collect more than 89,000 pieces of content from various brands owned by Fox Corporation. This shows how much this platform can change the way media content is managed, licensed and consumed in today's digital and AI era.
