Terms and Conditions

  1. The Bittime Writer event takes place from December 6, 2023 to January 10, 2024.
  2. The competition is open to the public and is free of charge (FREE). 
  3. Minimum article length is 1000 words.
  4. Articles written must include 3 links containing the following keywords:
  1. The article is the participant's original work that has never been published and entered in any competition. 
  2. Participants can attach data, statistics, photos, images, illustrations, infographics and videos to articles and make sure the sources are credible. 
  3. Publication media can use blogs or user-generated content (UGC) platforms such as Kompasiana, Medium, Kaskus, Indowebster, and the like. 
  4. Publications using blogs with top level domains (.com, .id, .net, etc.) will get added value in the assessment.
  5. Contest participants are allowed to register more than one article from different websites/blogs.
  6. This blog competition is judged by how many articles the participants write/publish. The more articles published, the higher the participant's chances of winning. 
  7. Articles that have been published must be screenshot and uploaded to Instagram Story with the Instagram tag @bittimeofficial and enter the hashtag #BittimeWriter.
  8. Competition participants must join the Telegram group at https://bit.ly/BittimeWritersTG for information about the competition
  9. Things that are prohibited in writing articles include:
    • Participants are not permitted to change, hide, or delete articles that have been submitted. 
    • Participants are not permitted to delete backlinks that have been determined after the competition period. 
    • Participants are prohibited from imitating or plagiarizing content from other websites. 
    • Articles do not contain SARA (Ethnicity, Religion and Race), pornography, adult content and anything that violates the law.
    • It is not permissible to discuss Bitcoin/crypto as a means of payment in Indonesia.
    • Do not mention, discuss, or compare similar companies or Bittime competitors.

Mechanism 

  1. Fill in your personal data on the registration form at https://bit.ly/FormBittimeWriters
  2. Timeline:
    • Competition registration and submission: 6 December 2023 - 10 January 2024
    • Winner announcement: January 15, 2024
  3. The winner of the competition will receive the following prizes:
    • 1st Place: Cash IDR 1,000,000
    • 2nd Place: Cash IDR 650,000
    • 3rd Place: Cash IDR 300,000
    • 4th - 10th Place: Cash IDR 150,000 each
  4. Make sure participants have registered and verified their account on Bittime for prize distribution. 
  5. Prizes will be given in the form of IDR to the Bittime account of each winner. 
  6. Winners will be announced via the Bittime website and social media accounts:
  7. Prize distribution takes place within 14 working days after the winner is announced.
  8. The decision to determine and all policies related to awarding prizes or determining winners are the sole rights of Bittime which are absolute and cannot be contested. 
  9. Bittime has the right to disqualify participants who are proven to have violated the competition conditions.
  10. Bittime has the right to use the winning written work for promotional purposes.
