LayerZero Launches LayerZero Roles, Rewards According to Community Roles

Bittime - LayerZero has just announced a new breakthrough in community empowerment. Via social media, Bryan Pellegrino, CEO of LayerZero Labs, explained LayerZero Roles or the community role system.

The LayerZero Roles program was born from the company's vision to build long-term alignment and strong community value. By continuously rewarding contributors, LayerZero hopes to create a mutually beneficial and growing ecosystem.

Therefore, LayerZero Roles is designed to reward LayerZero community members, developers and content creators through the allocation of funds from the community pool of 0.5%.

LayerZero Roles offers several role levels with different ZRO rewards. These role levels include:

• Community Member (50 ZRO): For new members who have joined the LayerZero Discord platform.
• Intern (50 ZRO): For active members who contribute positively and demonstrate long-term dedication.
• Hero (200 ZRO): For members who provide significant value in the community, such as helping other members or creating useful content.
• OG (1,000 ZRO): For senior members who play an important role in the community, such as helping new developers and maintaining community spirit.
• Legend (10,000 ZRO): For someone who has made an extraordinary contribution to building the LayerZero community.
• LayerZeroGod (100,000 ZRO): The highest title given to the figure who is considered to have the most significant influence on the progress of LayerZero.

LayerZero Roles Selection and Role Transition Process

More detailed information regarding the selection process and criteria for each role will be announced in the next 4-6 weeks. Additionally, existing community roles will be migrated into the new LayerZero Roles system.

For example, members with the "LegendLayer" role will be switched to the "Hero" role, while social media-based roles such as "TwitterLayer", "MemeLayer", and "ContentLayer" will become "Intern".

Collaboration with External Communities

LayerZero also plans to collaborate with external communities. Through a special program, certain external community members will have the opportunity to immediately land an “Intern” role at LayerZero. This step is expected to further expand and strengthen the fabric of the LayerZero community as a whole.
